This is my last post here on IndianaINTERN.net and while I am so incredibly sad to leave, I am so excited for what the future holds. That is why internships are so amazing, you get a shortened amount of time to get your feet wet in a career field and see what the future could potentially hold. I know I have said this a lot but starting my internship search and experience early has been a huge impact and influence on my life. I hope all you Indiana interns out there you are stepping out of your comfort zone and applying for as many internships out there. I hope that my blogs either made you laugh or gave you some sort of insight to being an intern or college student.
Indiana INTERNnet Team:
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Coming into this position I was so unaware of what I was getting into and how to navigate anything within the business world. I am so incredibly lucky to have been able to work with such a motivated, intelligent, hard working and hilarious team. Whether it was the race to get free food or the preparation for board meetings I have learned so much in my time here that I will use in my future endeavors. Without you all I would not be the intern/person I am today.
As someone who has utilized the site, thank you for all the continuous hard work you put in to create a strong workforce in Indiana. Your dedication to this website and its mission does not go unnoticed. From the events to screening every internship, the passion you all have for your job is inspiring.
Thank you for always answering every question I could ever think of. Thank you for being the best supervisor I could ask for. You gave me the ability to find projects that suited what I wanted to learn more about and always supported me in anyway you could. I am so appreciative for the feedback and insight to the real business world you have been able to give me. Attending meetings with you gave me knowledge that could never be taught in the classroom. I am grateful for the opportunities you brought my way and the advice you have shared along the way.
Thank you for being my biggest supporter and my helping hand throughout the process of starting my internship experience. Whether it was the projects you let me take lead on or the meetings we went to, you were always there to help in anyway possible. I hope you know how appreciative I am of not only the work you do but the help you were able to give me these past seven months. Thank you for believing in me and giving me so many opportunities to grow within this position. I am in awe of the amazing work you do for this company and strive to be as dedicated to a job as you are some day.
Thank you for giving me so much insight into the marketing and social media world. For reading my blogs and always stepping in when I needed a hand. I sincerely appreciate everything you have done for me. You have taught me so much during my time with the team and I know that the information you gave me will benefit me in the future. You have given me the ability to learn and grow within the realm of social media and I will never forget the tips you have given me. You were amazing to work with and thank you for being so supportive and influential in my life.
Thank you for being so amazing at what you do and allowing me to help with all the challenging tasks you deal with on a daily basis. You have been such a fun person to work with and I appreciate all the help and advice you have shared with me. You’re so creative, funny and innovative which makes you amazing at your job and inspires me to continue to work hard in every position I’m in.
This internship has given me the ability to grow exponentially and I am forever grateful for every opportunity it has given me. Between the summer events, workshops, and board meetings I have not only enjoyed my time here but grown so much professionally. I will miss working with everyone at Indiana INTERNnet and the chamber. I am excited to see what the future holds and can’t wait until we all cross paths again.
To Indiana interns, I hope you keep networking, challenging yourself, and of course interning.
