Noble County Public Library Internship
Description
Our interns work side by side with primary staff to provide library service to our community. Intern may be given special projects in addition to helping with day to day activities and services.
Responsibilities
Working with the public. Circulating materials. Managing the library when assigned to evenings or a Saturday (expect to work 1 to 2 evenings per week and 2 to 4 Saturdays per month). Depending on skills, special projects will be assigned. Also require ability to work with children, teens, and adults in various programming activities.
Qualifications
Must be a motivated self-starter. Comfortable with all age groups. Tech savvy. Social Media experience. Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to lift heavy objects (crates of books), good vision, hearing, and speaking. Library experience preferred.
