Description

IndyTeleData desires an entry level IT Tier-1 Helpdesk Engineer.  We service small to medium sized businesses in the Central Indiana market.  This is a fast paced environment.  Time is money.  Must be punctual at the beginning of the day and throughout the day as appointments demand.

Need a passion for fixing technology related problems and helping clients get the most out of their technology investments. Understanding data, voice, and video basics is important. Understanding how technology effects worker productivity is more important. A great personality is priceless.  

Responsibilities

Manage client communications from a variety of sources.  Perform initial triage.  Fix or forward to Tier-2 and Tier-3 Engineers.  Maintain contact with client and engineer until issue is resolved.  

Complete assign IT projects on time and on budget. 

Qualifications

Effective communication skills are a MUST.  An interest in technology is important.  Ability to handle multiple issues at a time and adjust to meet clients needs.  Willingness to learn.  

General aptitude for all systems and hardware that attach to an TCP/IP infrastructure.  Must have cell phone, driver's license and reliable transportation.

Our clients are mostly in Marion County with a few in the surrounding counties.  50% of our work is in our Indianapolis Southside office and 50% at our client site.
