Marketing Events Internship

Description

Zoo Internships are open to current college students – who are at least at entering their sophomore year – enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program. Interns serve 20-40 hours per week for 12 consecutive weeks. Positions are experience-based and are therefore unpaid. The Zoo can provide information to assist with your housing and transportation search.

Responsibilities

Marketing Events Internship

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Support the Zoo’s mission of protecting nature and inspiring people to care about our world.

-Light coordination, set-up and management of events including xZOOberance, Halloween ZooBoo and Christmas at the Zoo.

-Create flyers and write-ups for events.

-Collect re-cap information on events and promotions.

-Update trade print/radio files.

-Perform related duties as required.
