Description

The  Curatorial Internship  provides a general overview of the curatorial department,  which handles the stewardship of the permanent collection.  Additionally,  the curatorial department handles design and installation of permanent and temporary exhibits.  There are many components in this department that work together to produce high quality exhibitions,  on a continually rotating schedule.  As a result,  this internship will allow the student to explore many responsibilities in the department.  This will range from handling artwork to researching the permanent collection,  and assisting with exhibitions.

Qualifications

At least two courses in art history,  students are preferrably a junior or higher,  working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
