Summer 2021 Program Intern

Description

Assist with all planning and implementation of the 6-week summer program. The Summer Program Intern will gain experience in event management, program planning/execution, logistics, and data management.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Summer Program team by assisting with various tasks related to program planning and execution
• Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of large program events (Interview Day, Hiring Day, Opening Day, etc.)
• Assist with curriculum development and updates
• Assist with hiring and training summer staff
• Assist with data entry and tracking
• Lead social media efforts relating to the Summer Program
• Perform general administrative tasks to assist the Summer Program staff and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

TeenWorks seeks a Summer Program Intern who is obtaining a bachelor’s degree, has experience working with youth, and strong Microsoft Office skills. We seek candidates with strong communication skills, who are highly organized, show a high level of initiative and follow-through, and can work both independently and on a team.
