Junior Design Engineer

Description

Dallara is seeking two (2) interns to assist with Engineering Design projects for the motorsports and aerospace industries.  Under the direction of a senior engineer, the chosen interns will collaborate with the design and production teams on various design and manufacturing projects. 

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and concepts
• Use CREO to develop parts, assemblies, and drawings of new products and updates to existing ones
• Maintain existing engineering records and designs
• Assess engineering prototypes to determine issues or risks
• Coordinate with other engineers, management, and customers
• Develop and test prototypes
• Identify solutions to improve production efficiency
• Listen to feedback to hone skills and improve designs

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge and experience with CREO
• Creativity skills and problem-solving aptitude
• Time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
• Accurate and strong attention to detail
• Analytical skills
