Chemist Internship (Cosmetics/Skincare Lab) - Spring 2021 Internship

We are looking for R&D lab chemist interns to work side by side with our lab technicians and/or chemists to create new and innovative cosmetic formulations.

The job is hands-on, mostly wet lab experience. You will learn the basics first of making cosmetic products, then gradually progress to R&D.

This is where the rubber meets the road: You will be expected to use your chemistry and analytical background to make good decisions in the lab and bring innovative ideas to the table.

Responsibilities

Nights and/or weekends, for a total of approximately 12-20 hours per week. We know that you have school and plan to work around your schedule. You can work 1-2 weekend days, nights only or a combination of nights and weekends.

- Cosmetic product manufacturing

- Learn, use and clean instruments

- R&D formulating / experimentation

- Direct lab work on real formulations

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in chemistry or a related field. Must be conscientious, communicative and reliable. Interest in skincare/cosmetics a bonus.
