World Baseball Academy - Tournaments (Spring)

Description

World Baseball Academy Internship Program is focused on creating an experiential learning opportunity to develop the student's academic, personal, and career-related goals in their related area of study.  Experience is gained at the ASH Centre Sports Facility.  Theory is coordinated with practical experience.

Responsibilities

Our Internship program offers a wealth of experience to our students who partner with our World Baseball Academy staff for a semester.  A variety of areas of our operation can serve as a leadership development tool for the personal growth of our students.  These areas include:

• Event planning and implementation within our baseball tournaments operations.
• Facility management and upkeep as it pertains to the 26 acre campus.
• Taking part in reasearch projects as it pertains to the industry and factors that impact the organization.
• Taking part in project based learning based on the needs of the organization.
• Providing support for our At-Risk Fundraising Event

Qualifications

Passion - World Baseball Academy seeks to partner with young people who have a desire to positively impact others.

Required Skill – Communication, Hard Working, Punctual, Self Motivator

Physical Requirements-  There can be some minor manual labor involved and long hours depending on which area of the operation a student chooses to serve within.
