Project Description
The School Services Education Technology intern will be applying technological knowledge and experience to the field of education. Their project will be a digital conversion of current programs, and in-development programs, to maximize their utility for distance learning. The intern will be responsible for learning informal education pedagogy and best practices and applying them to digital learning program development across topics in STEM and the humanities.
Responsibilities
- Writing programming and program descriptions
- Attending biweekly check-in meetings with mentors and monthly department meetings
- Leading educational activities for museum visitors and/or school groups
Qualifications
- Majoring in Computer & Information Technology, Computer Graphics Technology, Media Arts & Sciences, Film & Video, or a related field
- 20 hour per week commitment, 12-15 hours virtually
- Experience with current AV technology preferred
- Experience working with children preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
