Description
Zokos is a Startup located in South Bend. We are in the development phase of our hybrid online/traditional retail model, which offers the possibility of tapping into the multi-billion dollar returned ecommerce goods market. Our interns will be instrumental in helping to refine inventory processing and developing market research for software sales and the liquidation industry.
Responsibilities
We are asking our interns for the following:
Social Media & Market Research(30%)
- Identify the best national markets for liquidation resellers by researching distribution warehouses and social media activity.
- Offer feedback on marketing and social media strategy to maximize outreach and impact.
- Identify social media best practices and insight in order to grow presence and user participation.
- Analyze data from markets and social media to provide insight into further outreach opportunities.
Administrative Function (20%)
- assist with market research
- generate reports and other documents
- handle customers queries
- interact with visiting vendors
Professional Development (10%)
- Attending local, regional, national, and international meetings, conferences and workshops sponsored by professional organizations
- Taking on new challenges in current position, projects, long or short-term assignments
- Get the experence of being a part of a high potential & high growth company.
Ecommerce Returns Processing and Sales (40%)
- helps process pallets of liquidated ecommerce goods by separating into specific categories for resale.
- Test and make recommendations for merchandise intake and assessment processing, particularly as it relates to quality control.
- Organize shelved inventory in response to sales and new items.
- Arrange for sales of liquidated products via cold calling, in person sales, and social media marketing.
Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent; would prefer student to be enrolled in an accredited university/college program.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Must be 18 years of age
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
