Assistant Pre-School Teacher - Summer 2021

Description

We are looking to hire a summer intern in our Pre-school and Kindergarten Prep classes to assist teachers in our summer program.  This will focus on children ages 3-6 years old.

Responsibilities

Our summer program is slightly less educationally structured than the normal school year but is still a critical time in helping pre-school aged children make final preparations to enter Kindergarten.  Classroom time focuses on working on reading, writing, large and small motor skill development, as well as continued social and emotional development.  The intern will help carry out and implement the lesson plans developed and put forth by the lead teacher.

Qualifications

High school deploma or GED; having completed college classes in the spring and enrolled for the fall.
