Description

Work within our Circulation Department assisting library users with their day-to-day needs.

Responsibilities

• Check in library material.
• Instructing patrons on self-check machine.
• Shelving materials.
• Answering telephone and transferring calls when needed.
• Provide courteous customer service to a wide variety of library patrons.
• Placing holds on library materials for patrons.
• Working as a team with Circulation staff, Youth Services, and the other departments of the library.
• General housekeeping of area.
• Provide assistance with the Summer Library Program by helping with displays, assisting patrons find the books they enjoy, special programming and ending party.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule.
• Must have completed one year of college.
• Enjoys working with children, teens and adults.
• Qualifies for state student work study (Earn).
