Description

At Quest Safety Products, Inc., we're working to utilize the world’s largest marketplace, Amazon, to help us spread our brand across the country. In order to do this, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. Quest is seeking a Marketplace Operations Intern to join our Amazon team. We distribute thousands of products each year to Amazon and that number continues to grow.

Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for receiving product into our warehouse and getting it back out to Amazon in a timely manner. Organization, attention to detail, and relentless work ethic are paramount. In addition, one of the most important aspects of your job is to lead change at internet speed. Innovation is required.

Four key areas that you’ll always focus on are the safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of your department.

  • Learn how to navigate our P21 in-house software system
  • Review the work forecasts and determine your productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall objectives
  • Creating processes ensuring that you are operating a balanced and efficient shift while meeting all of your goals
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

ADDITIONAL JOB ELEMENTS:

  • Lift and move totes up to 23 kg each
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
  • Walking in the facility and around the area with great frequency: the facility is over 20k square feet
  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours
  • Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation. Able to access all areas of building (ascending and descending ladders, stairs, gangways safely and without limitation)

 

-Must be HUBZone certfified

-Must be organized, process-driven, detail-oriented, and hard-working

-Must understand how operate microsoft, excel, and powerpoint platforms 

-Preferably pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business

-Preferably has had expeirence with working in teams
