Batesville Area Chamber Marketing and Social Media Intern

Description

The intern would be working closely with the Executive Director and the Office Manager.  We hope that they will learn the importance of how small and large businesses impact our community.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all social media marketing and updates including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and any future opportunities.
• Assist with designing and composing weekly Chamber electronic newsletter and distribution using Constant Contact.
• Design flyers and brochures in Canva and possibly InDesign.
• Work in a fun work environment. 
• Writing/composing stories including interviews with Chamber members.
• Attend Ribbon Cuttings ceremonies and market on social media. 
• Assist with rebranding the Chamber marketing materials.
• Assist with interviewing members and creating videos for social media.
• Assist with organizing Lunch and Learn workshops and marketing.
• Assist at Chamber sponsored events as necessary.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong knowledge of social media outlets.
• Professional customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with strong organization skills
• Ability to be flexible and accept new responsibilities.
• Other duties as necessary and agreed upon.

Qualifications

Knowledge of social media platforms. 

Knowledge of Canva and Constant Contact but will train. 

Marketing design experience is a bonus.
