Description
The Red Gold internship program is designed for future leaders who seek a culture built on hard-working, determined, and result driven individuals. The internship program will cover a wide range of project based assignments within one of our three state of the art manufacturing facilities. Interns add great value as a full-time employee doing real work, solving problems and delivering measurable results. Due to the dynamic nature of our business, duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

Responsibilities
- As an intern you will learn to supervise and lead individuals in an operations department
- Assist with implementation of production plans and managing the completion of production plans
- Apply good leadership techniques to achieve or exceed the expected level of quality and production output
- Assist with ideas to improve current production or place new products and lines into production
- Sit in on meeting with Supervisors and Managers to gain understanding of current projects/focuses
- Anticipate and overcome production related problems, materials shortages, equipment malfunctions and unavoidable delays where possible to reduce their impact on the operation
Project management for special projects as assigned:
- Monitoring and leading of projects
- Submission of potential projects to management
- Status reports on projects
Qualifications
Must be pursuing Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: o Industrial Management o Supervision o OLS, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology o Food Science o Ag Business o Food Process Engineering o Food Manufacturing Operations o Supply Chain Manufacturing/ Logistics o Quality Assurance o Ag System Management o Or any related major |
